During each academic semester, registration is held for all new, currently enrolled, degree-seeking, and nondegree-seeking students for the following term. Registration sessions consist of Registration and Late Registration (held during the first week of classes each term).

Multiple term registration begins following the mid-term of the spring semester for the following summer, fall, and spring terms. Class listings are available only online through the Class Schedule Search at my.ucf.edu. The dates and times for each registration period are included in the UCF Academic Calendar.

UCF academic calendar fall 2024

On the UCF Fall 2024 calendar, UCF Fall semester begins on Friday, August 19, 2024. Below are more important dates and deadlines on the UCF academic calendar for the fall semester of 2024.

1. Fall 2024 Application Deadline for New Undergraduate Freshman Applicants is Sunday, May 1, 2024.
2. Application Deadline for New Undergraduate Transfers is Friday, July 1, 2024. The same day is the deadline for readmission.
3. UCF fall 2024 move in date is from Thursday, August 18, 2024 to Sunday, August 21, 2024 (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on each day). Fall Early Move-In, by appointment only (per-night charge) are on Saturday, August 13, 2024 and Sunday, August 14, 2024.
4. On-Campus Housing Opens on Friday, August 19, 2024 – Sunday, August 21, 2024.
5. UCF Fall Semester starts on Friday, August 19 2024 according to the UCF Fall 2024 calendar.
6. UCF fall classes start on Monday, August 24, 2024.
7. Late registration is on myUCF login portal from Monday, August 24, 2024 – Friday, August 26, 2024.
8. The last day to drop and request full refund is on Friday, August 26, 2024.
9. Drop/Swap Deadline on myUCF is Friday, August 26, 2024. The same day is add deadline.
10. Tuition and fee payment deadline is on Friday, September 2, 2024. On the same day is Housing payment due.
11. Labor Day is Monday, September 5, 2024. UCF Holiday 2024.
12. Financial Aid deferral deadline is Friday, October 28, 2024.
13. Reinstate drop for nonpayment classes deadline is Friday, October 28, 2024.

24. On Friday, December 16 2024, grades will be processed as available and will be final at 9 a.m. on myUCF.

13. Registration for State Employees, UCFAA Employees, Non-Degree, Transients and Audits is on Friday, January 6, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
14. Registration for Senior Citizen Audits begins at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2025.
15. On-Campus Housing Opens at 9 a.m. from Saturday, January 7, 2025 to Sunday, January 8, 2025.
16. UCF Spring 2025 classes start on Monday, January 9, 2025.
17. Late Registration period is from Monday, January 9, 2025 to Friday, January 13, 2025. Late Registration ends Friday, January 13, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. A $100 Late Registration Fee applies to students who have not enrolled by the close of Registration. $100 Late Payment Fee applies to students who do not pay their fees or do not pay their fees by the due date according to UCF academic calendar.
18. Drop/Swap deadline is Friday, January 13, 2025 on myUCF.

25. Second Installment of Tuition Payment Plan deadline is Friday, March 10, 2025.
26. Financial Aid Deferral Repayment deadline is Friday, March 10, 2025.
27. UCF Spring Break 2024 is from Monday, March 13, 2025 to Sunday, March 19, 2025. Campus offices are still open during UCF spring break.
28. Friday, March 17, 2025 is the Graduate Thesis/Dissertation Format Review deadline.

38. Spring 2025 classes end Monday, April 24, 2025.
39. Monday, April 24, 2025 is the last day to Remove Incomplete.
40. Incomplete grades must be removed within one year of the award date before graduation from the University, whichever comes first, or they will change to “F.”
41. Grade Forgiveness deadline is Monday, April 24, 2025. Students must be enrolled in the second attempt before applying for Grade Forgiveness, and requests must be submitted no later than the last day of classes for the term/session in which the course is being repeated.
42. Study Day is Tuesday, April 25, 2025.
43. UCF final examination period is Wednesday, April 26, 2025 to Tuesday, May 2, 2025.
44. On-Campus Housing Closes on Wednesday, May 3, 2025.
45. Degree Conferral Date is Thursday, May 4, 2025 according to UCF academic calendar.

UCF Summer semester starts on Monday, May 16, 2024. The summer semester is divided into Sections A, B, C, and D.

Commencement and Degree Conferral date Friday, August 5, 2024 – Saturday, August 6, 2024.
