Check out these important dates and deadlines on the UCR Academic calendar 2024. University of California-Riverside (UCR) is on a quarter system which is typically 10 weeks long. They consist of 4 terms: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.

To be considered a full-time student at UCR, you must enroll in at least 12 units per quarter. However, undergraduate students must average 15 units per quarter in order to graduate in four years.

MBA students are considered full-time at 16 units. Students in the online masters in the engineering program are considered full-time at 9 units.

UCR fall quarter starts on September 19, 2024 and ends on December 9, 2024. Below are other important dates and deadlines on the UCR academic calendar for Fall Quarter 2024.

1. UCR Schedule of Classes for Fall quarter is online from May 5, 2024.
2. On May 10, 2024, enrollment appointments are viewable on UCR R’Web.
3. UCR’s continuing students registration is from May 16 – June 7, 2024.
4. The last day to apply for readmission is June 20, 2024.
5. Readmitted and new graduate students’ registration is from August 22 – August 26, 2024.
6. Transfer students’ registration periods are August 30 – August 31 2024 and September 1, 2, 6, and 7, 2024 on the UCR academic calendar.
7. September 1, 2024 is the last day to mail payment for tuition/fees to allow for processing time.
8. Undergraduate 17 unit maximum load lifted on September 9, 2024 (2nd pass opens at 9:00 a.m.).
9. Makeup enrollment and add/drop period is June 8 – June 24, 2024, for Continuing Students and September 9 – October 7, 2024, for All Students.
