UACE Minimum Requirements to Register for Examination:
- Only candidates who have passed UCE (Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4) and obtained the Uganda Certificate of Education, or an equivalent qualification, and have pursued an Advanced Level course of at least two years can be registered for UACE examination. Candidates registering under UPOLET must be those who sat UACE in 2014 only.
UACE grading system According to Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).:
At A-level, the final examination is known as Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examination (UACE). The grading is as follows
- 80% -100% – D1
- 75% – 79% – D2
- 70% – 74% – Credit 3
- 65% – 69% – Credit 4
- 60% – 64% – Credit 5
- 55% – 59% – Credit 6
- 45% – 54% – Pass 7
- 35% – 44% – Pass 8
- 00 – 34% – Failure

USING MOBILE MOBILE PHONE:
Students can check for the 2021 UACE results using your Mobile Phone through the following procedure;
- 1. Open the message pad on your Mobile Phone
- 2. Type the Examination Name as “UACE” (Leave Space)
- 3. Type Examination Index Number (NO Space)
- 4. Send to 6600

UCE Results Performance:
- A total of 101,268 candidates registered for the 2015 examination from 2,003 centres compared to 108,419 candidates from 1,803 centres in 2014. This is a decrease by 7,151 (-6.6%). A total of 99,847 candidates appeared for the examination, compared to 107,297 in 2014, a decrease of 7,448 candidates (-6.9%). The third cohort of UPOLET students took the examination in 2015. The number registered under the scheme was 20,840 compared to 24,308 in 2014 (20.6% of total candidature)
