A Matriculant is a student who is in their final year of schooling. Matriculants will participate in a final end of year Matric Exam.

Their Matric Results are determined on how good or bad they do on their Matric Exams. Matric Result Calculations are done like this, a 25% school work mark combined with the 75% Matric End Of Year Examination Mark. Matric Results Release Date is usually the following year in January.

19 January 2024 – Minister to announce the results of the Class of 2023
20 January 2024 – Statement of results available at exam centres/schools
3 February 2024 – Last day to apply for remarking/rechecking of examination scripts
8 February 2024 – Last day to register for the 2024 May/June examinations
15 March 2024 – Last day to register for the 2024 October/November examinations
