South Africa’s latest batch of matriculants officially sat their exams from 31 October 2023, writing their last paper on 7 December.
About 924,460 students comprising full-time and part-time students registered for the 2023 matric examinations a 3% increase over 2021’s participants.

15 March 2024 – Last day to register for the 2024 October/November examinations

The results reflected on this website are the results of the individual subjects written in the 2023 Senior Certificate midyear examinations, and DO NOT include the results of the National Senior Certificate midyear examinations.
Only candidates who wrote and are resulted in six or more subject will obtain a result status, otherwise the status will be reflected as “Incomplete”. 9999 indicates an incomplete status.
