Auburn University is a public land-grant research university in Auburn, Alabama. With more than 24,600 undergraduate students and a total enrollment of more than 30,000 with 1,330 faculty members, Auburn is the second largest university in Alabama. It is one of the state’s two public flagship universities.

The selection of freshmen is based on ACT/SAT scores (29/1330 minimum), high school grade point average (3.85 minimum), the submission of an essay, and a record of leadership and service. Students already enrolled at Auburn who have a 3.4 unadjusted GPA may also be considered for admission.

Our 2022 enrollment of 31,764 students included 25,379 undergraduates and 5,323 graduate and professional students.
