WSU academic calendar fall 2024

The WSU fall 2024 calendar has important dates and deadlines for the WSU academic calendar 2024-2025.

1. WSU move-in day fall 2024 is the weekend of Saturday, August 13, 2024, and Sunday, August 14 2024. Early move-in will take place Friday, August 12, 2024. Students can check in any day during the Week of Welcome until Sunday, August 21, 2024, the day before classes begin.
2. WSU Fall classes start on Monday, August 22, 2024. The first day of classes for fall term 2024.
3. Accepting Faculty/Staff tuition fee waiver forms is Monday, August 22, 2024.
4. Late registration begins on Monday, August 22, 2024. $25.00 Late Registration Fee is Charged
5. Sunday, August 28, 2024 is the deadline for term withdrawal from WSU with a full refund (less term withdrawal fee).
6. The last day students may add a course online is Sunday, August 28, 2024. Classes added after this date require appropriate signatures.
7. The deadline for enrollment before the $100 late registration fee is Sunday, August 28, 2024.
8. Friday, September 2, 2024 is the last day to accept Faculty/Staff tuition fee waiver forms to add courses for faculty, staff, and state employees under the tuition waiver according to the WSU academic calendar 2024-2025.
9. The deadline to change from audit to credit is Friday, September 2, 2024.
10. The last day a student may receive a refund for special course fees is Friday, September 2, 2024.
11. Friday, September 2, 2024 is the last day to add a course as audit, to change from credit to audit or audit to credit.

13. Tuesday, September 6, 2024 is the deadline to pay unpaid tuition, and mandatory fees or a 3% late fee will be assessed.
14. The last day to change enrollment from letter-graded to pass/fail is Friday, September 9, 2024.
15. Tuesday, September 20, 2024 is the deadline for dropping a course without record. (Course withdrawals after this date are recorded on the student’s transcript) on the WSU academic calendar 2024-2025.

17. The last day to file residency application is Tuesday, September 20, 2024.

19. Friday, October 7, 2024 is the deadline to apply for a Fall 2024 Graduate Degree, and late fees are applied after this date.
20. Mid-term grade submission ends on Wednesday, October 12, 2024. Required for students enrolled in undergraduate courses.
21. Friday, November 4, 2024 is the recommended deadline to take Final Exams for an advanced degree.
22. Veteran’s Day holiday is Friday, November 11, 2024 on the WSU academic calendar.
23. The deadline for undergraduate and professional students to withdraw from a course is Friday, November 18, 2024. Withdrawals do not reduce tuition charges.
24. The last day to take the final examination for an advanced degree is Friday, November 18, 2024.
25. WSU Thanksgiving break 2024 begins on Monday, November 21, 2024 to Friday, November 25, 2024.
26. Friday, December 9, 2024, is the last day to apply for a Fall 2024 undergraduate or professional degree or certificate with a $75 late fee. After this date fee increases to $150 according to WSU academic calendar 2024-2025.
27. The deadline to change from pass/fail to letter-graded is Friday, December 9, 2024.
28. Friday, December 9, 2024 is the last day to add a course for this term with appropriate signatures.
29. The deadline for term withdrawal from WSU is Friday, December 9, 2024.

31. WSU Pullman Commencement/Graduation 2024 is on Saturday, December 10, 2024.

1. Priority Registration begins For Spring 2025 on Monday, November 7, 2024.
2. Spring 2025 classes begin on Monday, January 9, 2025. The first day of classes for the term.
3. Accepting Faculty/Staff tuition fee waiver forms is on Monday, January 9, 2025.
4. Late registration begins on Monday, January 9, 2025. $25.00 Late Registration Fee Charged.
5. The deadline for term withdrawal from WSU with full refund (less term withdrawal fee) is Sunday, January 15, 2025.
6. Sunday, January 15, 2025 is the last day students may add a course online. Classes added after this date require appropriate signatures.
7. Martin Luther King Jr Day holiday is Monday, January 16, 2025 according to the WSU academic calendar.

22. Friday, March 3, 2025 is the last day to apply for May 2025 undergraduate or professional degree or certificate without incurring a late fee. After this date, an additional fee of $75 is assessed.
23. Priority Registration Begins For Summer 2025 on Monday, March 6, 2025.
24. WSU Spring break 2025 is from Monday, March 13, 2025, to Friday, March 17, 2025.
25. The last day for graduate students to submit the completed Exam Scheduling form (via the portal by department) is Saturday, April 8, 2025.
26. Priority registration begins For fall 2025 on Monday, April 10, 2025.
27. Friday, April 14, 2025 is the deadline for undergraduate and professional students to withdraw from a course. Withdrawals do not reduce tuition charges according to WSU academic calendar 2024-2025.
28. The last day to take the final examination for an advanced degree is Friday, April 21, 2025.

38. Friday, June 9, 2025 is the last day to apply for a May 2025 undergraduate or professional degree or certificate with a $150 late fee.
39. The last day for undergraduate or professional students to complete all requirements to be considered candidates for the May 2025 class is Friday, June 16, 2025. The graduation application will become inactive if conditions are not complete by this date.
