UCE 2022 RESULTS OUT Thursday,09 2023
The results for the 2022 Uganda Certificate of Education Examination (UCE) will be released this Thursday February 9th, 2022, at State House, Nakasero. The function will start at 11:00 am, and will be presided over by the Hon. Minister of Education and Sports, Mama Janet K. Museveni. It will be broadcast and streamed live on a number public radio and TV stations as well as UNEB Social Media Platforms; @UNEB_UG.
A total of 349,459 registered for the examination from 4,185 Examination Centres. This is as compared to 333,396 candidates that registered for the last UCE examination of 2020, indicating an increase of 16,063 in candidature. 50.3% of the registered candidates were males, while 49.7% were females.
The UNEB Executive Director, Mr. Dan Odongo, is expected to reveal the number of the candidates that actually sat for the examination compared to those that registered for the same, as well as the general comparative performance, and performance by gender.
Invited guests to the highly scientific function are expected to start arriving by 9:00 a.m.
Parents, candidates and other interested parties may access results immediately after release through the Short Message Services (SMS) on their telephone handsets. One will be required to know the full Index Number of the candidate, go to the Message menu on the Phone, type UCE, leave space, type full index Number, then send to 6600.

Checking the Results with the School/Centre
Information regarding the status of candidates such as names of candidates, their index numbers and subjects for which they have registered is available with all examination Centres countrywide.
How do I check my UNEB-UCE results online? |How do I get my UCE results for whole school?
- Visit the UNEB eReg Portal using this link https://ereg.uneb.ac.ug/results
- On the Results Page, Enter your Index Number.
- Click on search and wait for your results to show up on the next page
You can also view UNEB UCE Results online via this link => https://ereg.uneb.ac.ug/eresults/
School Administrators will be able to download the results from the examination centre portals as they are officially released. No hard copies of the results will be available at the UNEB offices for now, until a later date when conditions permit. When that time comes, UNEB will officially inform the District, Municipal and City Inspectors of Schools.

- For P7 UNEB PLE Results, go to messages on your phone and type PLE Index No e.g. PLE U000001 and send this to 6600
- For S4 UNEB UCE Results, go to messages on your phone and type UACE Index No e.g UCE U0001/001 and send this to 6600.
- For S6 UNEB UACE Results, go to messages on your phone and type UACE Index No e.g. UACE U0001 and send this to 6600.
- For Technical Institute results, go to messages on your phone and type TECH Index no e.g. TECH UT002/0001 and send this to 6600.
NOTE THAT : This service cost UGX 500 for each SMS you send. You will then receive your exam result details instantly.
