NACTVET Selection 2022/2023 | NACTE Selected Applicants 2022/2023. The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) is a corporate body established by the National Council for Technical Education Act, 1997 (Act No. 9 of 1997). The Act provides a legal framework for the Council to  coordinate provision of technical education and training and establish an efficient national qualifications system that will ensure that products from technical institutions are of high quality and respond to changing needs as well as technological innovations in the world.

Technical education in this context is defined as “education and training undertaken by students to equip them to play roles requiring higher levels of skills, knowledge and understanding and in which they take responsibility for their areas of specialization”. NACTE is thus, a multidisciplinary and multi-sectoral body empowered to oversee and coordinate the provision of technical education and training in Tanzania

NACTVET Selection 2022/2023 | NACTE Selected Applicants 2022/2023

The National Council for Vocational Education and Vocational Training (NACTVET) would like to inform the public that the results of the first round of elections for health program applicants for September 2022/2023 have been officially released today, August 15, 2022.

The Council received a total of 31,158 applications (15,711 women (50.4%) and 15,447 men (49.6%)) of which 28,316 applicants (91%) are qualified to join various health programs. Among the qualified applicants, 14,229 (50.2%) are women and 14,087 (49.8%) are men.

In addition, a total of 20,407 (72%) qualified applicants, 10,426 women (51%) and 9,981 men (49%) have been selected to join various Health programs offered by 208 Universities in this first phase. 7,909 applicants (28%) women 3,803 (48%) and men 4,106 (52%) with qualifications were not selected in their selections due to various reasons including competition, the limited capacity of the colleges they applied for as described in the profile of their pages of prayers.

All applicants can check their answers through the council’s website (www.nacte.go.tz) through the link click here for more information. For those who were successfully selected, they are advised to download the application form and contact the college directly to confirm acceptance of the position. The council directs all applicants who are not ready to join colleges to contact the relevant colleges for further instructions. All applicants who were not selected should follow the instructions on their application pages (their profiles) to fill in the new options.

In addition, the Council would like to inform the public that the window for the second phase has opened today on 15/08/2022 until 30/08/2022 and the election results will be released on 6/9/2022. Also, the system will be opened again for sending applications for the third phase on 8/9/2022 to 23/9/2022 and the verification answers will come out on 30/09/2022 so that students can report to the college from 3/10/2022 to 18/10/2022.
