The Army for Nation Building (JKT), is inviting young people who graduated from secondary education form six in 2022, from all schools in mainland Tanzania to attend JKT training in accordance with the law.
in line with the call, JKT has set up camps for them to go for training and they are required to report to camps from 01 to 10 June 2022.
When will the names of the JKT Selection release?
Often the names of the students are given in phases, consisting of up to 3 phases, depending on the number of students who completed in the year and due to the capacity of the camp.
The first phase is offered the first week after completing their Form Six examinations. followed by the names of the second phase which are given ten days from the first phase selected student to report to the camp and the third phase is offered to fill the vacancies of all those who failed to report in both previous phases and is announced one week from the start of the second phase selection.
What can happen if you are selected JKT and do not go to JKT
Many people fail to report to JKT as they have been elected thinking that going to JKT is voluntary and not necessary. but the fact is that if you have been selected to join JKT in accordance with the Law to report it is mandatory. and if you do not go it is a deliberate violation of the law and strict action will be taken against you

Each year has its own specific date for reporting JKT to selected students. so there is no set date for each year. except that it is usually the first week of June for the first-term candidates.
