Durban University of Technology – DUT Online Application 2024-2025

Durban University of Technology (DUT) is the main choice for higher education in KwaZulu-Natal, with roughly 33 000 students (KZN). It’s situated between the lovely cities of Durban and Pietermaritzburg (PMB). It prioritizes the quality of teaching and learning as a University of Technology by ensuring that its academic staff has the greatest available qualifications.

In April 2002, two famous technikons, ML Sultan and Technikon Natal merged to form the Durban University of Technology. It was once known as the Durban Institute of Technical until being renamed the Durban University of Technology to match the rest of the technical universities.

All prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in pursuing or furthering their study at Durban University of Technology (DUT) can apply online for the 2023 academic year beginning September 1st, and ending November 30th. As a result, all students interested in studying at DUT in 2024 must apply online at www.dut.ac.za, the university’s official website.

Durban University of Technology Admission Requirements;

The following requirements are needed of every prospective students when applying:

1. Aррlісаnt must submit their Grade 11 аnd latest Grade 12 results
2. Fаіlurе in submitting the result may delay аррlісаtіоn process.
3.  Have іt in mіnd tо ѕubmіt іt wіthіn the аррlісаtіоn period.
4. All the dосumеntѕ уоu attach will nееd tо be certified соріеѕ оf the originals.

The following documents are needed when applying for a program at DUT:

1. An Original Senior Certificate or your Statement of Results
2. An Original Identity Documents
3. Provide an original academic record/diploma/degree and Certificate of Conduct.
4. An Indemnity form
5. Biographical Information Sheet
6. A Confirmation of your Acceptance form
7. A Surety form
8. Residence form if necessary
9. A Study Permit (International students only)
10. Proof of Medical Cover (International students only)
11. Passport ID (International students only)
12. A Clearance Letter from the International Office (International students only)
13. You must also provide SAQA Evaluation if necessary
14. Your Matriculation Board Evaluation if necessary.
